A licensed counselor with over 40 years of experience
MICHAEL J. CULKIN, LCSW
Michael J. Culkin is a Pennsylvania Licensed Social Worker with over 40 years of experience in private practice. He is a member of The National Association of Social Workers and the Academy of Certified Social Workers.
“You don’t have to be sick to get better” is an outlook that Michael has found helpful when working with people who look for assistance because their regular ways of dealing with changes, concerns, losses emotional challenges or other issues, are not working for them.
At times when a person is challenged with a life situation that person may feel overwhelmed and feel there is something wrong with them. They may not be in touch with their strengths and talents. Also, they may not be aware that their own behavior and ways of looking at situations or relationships, may be contributing to their problems.
Assisting clients to clarify challenges and problems and developing ways and directions to address these, is part of the working relationship with which Michael approaches therapy.
Currently Michael’s sessions are fee for service.
